Default FW 20/40 --- crappy top pair in BB v. SB flop bet

OK Foxwoods 20/40 game. Button is an abysmal player who is the reason the game is good. Playing 100% of hands preflop and taking them as passively as possible all the way to the river, where he folds without a pair. He'll usually fold the turn to 2 cold without at least mid pair. SB is that {greek?} guy Nick who owns the Pizza shop. I haven't played with him that much, but judging from what I've seen and the way the regulars treat him, he's probably a small to medium loser in the game long term, possibly a very marginal winner. In the short time I've played with him, I've pegged him as passive and too loose, but not horribly so. He will never fold his SB in a limped pot from what I've seen.

I have K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in the BB. Aggro CO who plays too loose limps--he would have raised any ace and probably any K here. Button limps. Nick completes. I check.

Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Nick bets out. I think about raising but decide to call. CO and button decide to call, too. CO would have raised with top pair, a draw, or a decent 8 here is my guess and would almost never fold on the flop even with a complete miss.

Turn is T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Nick bets. I raise planning on putting no more money into the pot unless I'm called and river a 3.

Bad, good, indifferent?

I would just call and let the people behind you put in their money with their 8's and 6's.

If someone behind you calls I think check-folding the river has to be wrong. Couldn't someone bet a T if you check to them on the river?

Button must be Tony with the white hair and reading glasses. If Nick beats the game, which I doubt, it's not by much. His cards must have been lousy as I think Nick can be a little too aggro at times.

BTW - How did the hand vs. Fabio come out?

i'd raise the flop, but that is just my style. I'd want to play this hand heads up against a calling station. You may also get a medium king to fold.

I would bet the river if checked to, but probably not call a bet or a raise.

You're not going to get any K to fold to a flop raise in this game. He's got a shot with a turn raise.

I wasn't specific enough on my plan for the river when I posted because I knew how the turn played out...

If Nick folded and Asian guy called, I would have check/called the river.

If Nick folded and the other guy called two cold, I would have seriously thought about check/folding the river but it would have been close and might have depended on body language.

If either of the LP players called and Nick called, I would have checked and folded to an LP bet and a Nick overcall.
