Villain is a TAP. Any other way I should have played this?

Looks like 44-77. I'd play the same way against a passive one.

I think he's just trying to push you off your hand. I can't see what he's playing UTG that beats you, other than A5, 55, or a set. Still, I don't think you can play the river any differently.

You cannot fold this heads-up, though, given the p/f action.

Now that I think about it, he probably has a set, or maybe 99/TT.

am I the only one who checks the turn and calls the river? Youre either way ahead or way behind. The turn check will induce a bluff a lot on the river. You save yourself a bet when you are behind as well. There are MANY players who will semi bluff the OESD.
