Default low profit!

my roi has been pretty bad last week or so, had one real bad swing middle of week but apart from that only getting 10% roi. just started reviewing my tourney summaries as i read this helps. Just cant get no luck. losing 80% of my 50/50 and just getting outdrawn alot and quite a few badbeats. you guys get weeks like this? do you just play through? or take a break?

Either you are really good or I really suck at this game. You should feel very good if this really is the case.

Bitching about running bad is lame.
Bitching about 'only' 10% ROI for a week is REALLY lame.

Call the wambulance...

My overall ROI over the last 800 games is 9%. You don't hear me crying about my $2K in profits.

I was CANING the PokerRoom Sit & Gos, until a bad beat in a live home game put me on tilt for a full week.

The good cards disappeared, I was getting continually outdrawn, and I wasn't making much from those hands I did hit. It's the first time I've tried to play through a tilt, and - it just didn't work. I improved slightly after taking a 2-day break, but not enough, and I kept going back to continue my poor run.

The key seems to have been waiting for another live game - a tougher home game - and turning things round there. OK, so I got a bit lucky, but my play overall was much better, and it was definitely the change I needed...

If you are feeling bad about having a 10 % ROI in a week...

well I hope you never hit a bad run the likes of which I hit last month.

IT definitely fulfilled the definition of "IT."

If this upsets you this much I can't IMAGINE what you would do faced with a bad run like that.
