Default Is the basic strategy outlined in Super System still effective?

Is ultra-aggressive play still effective in today's games? Is sticking your stack all in very often still profitable?

That is for unrestricted buy in games of hefty money. Does not work too well for small stakes holdem. As far as your question, yes it works well in the type of games it is meant to work in.
