No need to apologize for the smaller limits. Preflop is alright, just don't go broke with the hand. Flop is fine. You could bet here, but a check isn't horrible. I fold this river without a read.

Im tempted to scream that its only 12 cents to call, but I knowthats wrong. Anyways, raising the flop is a much better idea than calling here. The SB raise is very weak and i would raise it and see what happens. If you get callers and it still checks to you on the turn then you can take your free card or bluff the scare card Ace.

To answer your question, yes. If you are going to be playing second pair then calling down is too weak. Fortune favors the bold. Raise andnbeprepared to drop your hand if you meet a lot of resitence, otherwise dont play the hand.
