Default River Play?

On the river, should I check/call, bet/fold, or check/fold? I assume my turn line is fine.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
5 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (3 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB folds.

River: (5 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 8 BB

Default Re: River Play?

Based on the size of the pot, I'm check folding the river. It completes the possible flush, plus it's an A, neither of which you beat, but both of which are possible holdings for the button. Tiny pot, check / fold.

hand is fine IMO. check/calling is bad. you could check/fold, but i hate doing that. rivered Ace or flush beats you and pot isn't worth it. goot fold.

edit: wireman types faster than me
