Default Heads Up

While I personally feel that it is good to be well rounded in poker, I feel that most people specialize and mostly play in one area, may it be ring games, Multi tables, or single tables. Do many people play mostly head's up games? Do you think that head's up is potentially as profitable as ring games and multi table tourneys.

The rake kills you more in heads up play and the swings are huge.

I switched almost exclusively to heads up. It's a lot more fun and develops your game a lot but the swings are huge.

How is the rake? For 5/10+ it might not be so bad, but I imagine at 2/4 and 3/6 the rake would take a huge bite out of your ass.
