Hell yeah. The biggest temptation in the world is to say that what you like is great by definition, so I try as hard as I can to not say something like, "You're wrong" if you don't like something, and just ascribe it to different tastes and personalities, maybe even levels of development, harsh or full of crap as that sounds. But Spirited Away is good enough to make me feel absolutely forced to say that if you don't think it's a really good movie, you're just plain wrong, period.
Miyazaki has a lot of spirit. We're damn lucky to have him, and that he doesn't keep it to himself.

By the way, I've been in a couple of focus groups too, and they didn't increase my faith in the intelligence or taste of my contemporaries.
Kind of like when you realize the Nielsen ratings reflect actual living people.
