I don't mind it every once in a while if like you say the BB is tight and the limper is one of loose passive types that calls the flop with anything then folds the turn UI. If he's the type to call down with ace high then this is just spewage.

I think your flop check raise was bad though. BB most likely has a decent hand, probably a pocket pair and the only thing that saved you was the ace on the turn. Otherwise you would have been in trouble.

Let me say first that I like to experiment with different plays and im sorry I had to reveal the result.

Preflop: My position is great loose player on the right - super tight on the right. I raise against a random hand and I expect to take advantage of MP being weak and predictable post flop

Postflop: I am not sure but I think I get good odds to steal against a rock in both streets. He either has an ace overcard or not. It's unlikely he has a 6 and he is likely folding a low PP. What I hold is not important as my purpose is to push him off and not to go to SD. I would give up on the turn if it wasnt J,A and 4 or 6.

Just going through my thought process at the time and not trying to prove I was right. (Obviously I was )

You got lucky this time. I think this is a -ev move over the long run.

You raised a LPP with J high OOP, you are not getting him to fold his hand and he probably will call you down with A high.

Change the J to an A and this move is fine.

In short don't take criticisim personally here, use it as a learning experiance to improve your ganme.

Let me explain myself. Irishp for some reason has made a number of such rude responses in posts that I've made in the micros. I accept criticism very well but I do not accept personal attack. As for my ego: It felt great winning this hand!
