Yeah, they ran a few segments on Wide World of Sports. I still don't think it will make the networks simpley because there are too many speciality sports channels now and the networks are dumping all their events onto cable except the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and NASCAR. I even understand that the Indy 500 will be a cable event next year. [/ QUOTE ] Um, no. The INDY 500 is on ABC.

poker on broadcast TV (sort of)
the celebrity poker show that bravo is creating will start out airing on its parent station, NBC, in prime time to generate interest. it won't be on NBC permanently...but it will be there for at least one or two epsiodes.
granted this is not quite real poker. but it's a step. plus i want to see martin sheen go all-in on someone.
