Raising Jacks is standard with any amount of limpers from ANY position 6 handed. If you arent raising jacks 100% of the time you are leaving money on the table

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course, this was 8 handed, so is it still standard?

This wasn't 6 handed for one, but your statement still doesn't ring true. On a very loose table raising JJ from the blinds with several limpers is marginal, as it is a hand that will see an overcard a signficant % of the time, cannot stand much heat post flop, and is very hard to play out of position, especially in a huge bloated pot if you get several callers. Playing it for set value in spots like these can save you many a headache.

Is he getting real tricky with AA, KK,

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe this is most likely. He probably had a strong read that one or more of the 3 players to his left were positional LAG's and he was *guaranteed* a raise back into him that he could bump up. Of course he was wrong and got lucky that SB held JJ and chose to raise. I would be shocked to see a 12/4 man restealing with 77-TT, way too tricky a play to see often at SSNL, and likely to get him thrown out of the Set Miners Guild.

It's not 6 handed.

This may be the case... but then what do you do once reraised as in this case?
