Does anybody know exactly when the video was made.

I'm sure it was made at least by mid-season in 1985. So, it was quite a statement.

It was recorded right after Week 14, which was ironically their only loss.

The song must have had some impact on me, because I can still remember a lot of the lyrics 20 years later and I am not even a Bears fan.

"Well they call me Sweetness, and I like to dance. 'Cuz running the ball is like making romance."

"We're not here to start no trouble, we're just here to do the Super Bowl Shuffle."

I was in fifth grade at the time. My best friend had just won our class's spelling bee and was moving on to the school-wide one. Another friend and I were so confident in his inevitable triumph that we wrote "The Spelling Bee Shuffle" for him. We thought we were quite clever. I so wish I could recall some of the lyrics to that.

My wife has this on 45. For you kids, 45's are small records with one song on each side.

Didn't the Cowboys make a video earlier, "I Don't Want to Be Home for Christmas", that may have inspired this?

You should probably also explain what a record player is.
