Who has used google desktop?

Anyone here use google desktop? Is it just like windows explorer? Is the interface good, and is it just faster to operate than win explorer?

I use it and like it.

The features that are particularly useful to me are:

- the e-mail view synchronised with my gmail account (primary e-mail)
- the news which get constantly updated
- the scratch pad.. for quick copy
- the notepad.. to jot ideas
- the to do list
