just started playing this game

stacks of interest

me 200
villain 350

one limper to me, on the button i make it 10 w/ AA

BB (villain) cold calls.
limper folds


pot- 25

TJQ rainbow

villain checks
hero- bets 17
villain-calls.


turn 6 (pot 59)

villain checks
hero checks


river 3 (no flush possibility) (59)

villain leads for 25
hero calls 25

final pot $109



help me, i felt lost with this hand but really didnt' like the flop that much.

I like it. Bad flop for AA and you kept the pot size controlled.

What do you see as being the problem with your line?

sweet, glad i didn't botch it up


villain had tt for a flopped set.

the river call, i didn't feel really good about it, but i thought there was a good chance that i was looking at kq or possibly a decent ace....figured no worse hand calls any raise.

Before I read the post I was thinking you were up against a set or two pair. He might have been looking to c/r you on the turn, but I like the check here. The river bet was probably value, looking for a call or raise.

I think you played it perfect, villian implied a >$75 pot with his preflop call. You kept it small, he came up short. Losses minimized.
