Hero-$200 Villain-$201.75 Hero is utg+1 raises to $8 with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 folds Villain calls in CO 3 folds flop ($19)- 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero leads $14 Villain raises to $32 Hero reraises TO $78 ...thoughts? been at table for a little while~35 min. villain hasn't gotten out of line, seems ok. My image is full blown TAG. ZZzzZZzz |

People who 3-bet all in on a board like this almost always have jack [censored]. However, a lot of people just think "big bet" and might fold. Good luck.

UTG+1 raise from TAG = AA-JJ, AK, AQ
If villain is paying attention, he knows this. The 3-bet will probably chase off TT, 88, 77 that are trying to test you. Unfortunately, it'll also spew chips at 99 or any 6, and QQ-JJ might not be going anywhere. However, if villain is not out of line when calling preflop raises, there arent too many hands that he could have that are ahead of what you're representing (AA-QQ, i'd say). Not a terrible play then, especially if you think he's testing your continuation bet. Just hope it works... |
