Flat view is a must, IMO.

How can you tell which post is a respnose to which in Flat View?

[/ QUOTE ]

I always see this question pop up with regards to flat view. I usually read threads from the top down, and I somehow manage to remember who said what and then it's fairly easy to puzzle together who is responding to whom. Obviously this system falls apart with threads that span dozens of pages of responses, but for 95% of the threads around here it seems to work.

The crazy little "in response to" phrase written above the box.

I'm trying flat view for a while, but I'm not convinced that I will be able to follow threads easily.

I wish there were a view that was like flat view, but that would indent, and order posts the way that they are in threaded mode.

if you ever get confused just click the poster's name above the response post and it will take you to the original

I'm pretty surprised with all the people using Frosted. I figured Infopop2 was the coolest. Frosted is ok, I guess.

Infopop2, 25 threads per page, 50 posts per thread

edit: oh, and flat view of course. Threaded view is something only boorish Americans would use!
