It\'s no Party
I am still having problems with Party poker.
At all other sites I am running about 6bb/100 Party I am barely profitable since I got PT. By my hourly take before PT I estimated I was making about 8bb/100. I have 2700 hands logged, and only 3 with wins above 10BBs. Is that normal? Seems like I should have quite a few more big scoops.

Do you have that problem with other games at Party? My guess is you're just having trouble adjusting to the looser play.

I am no longer calling down with 3rd nut low and backing into the nuts. But still, it seems like in 2.7k hands I should have some good scoops.

I'm running at about 4BB/100 hands over my last 20k. The 60k+ before that is a different story. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I'm pretty new to the game but I have the same problem in 1/2. Poker starts I have several thousand hands at 3.69BB/100. Party I can't seem to get it going. It is slightly more dumb aggressive.
Last night - I I was 0 for 85. Not even a split. I saw 9.5%VPIP (normally 18%) and every single hand that I played was counterfieted. I hate varience. I have won at every other site I have played 1/2 but Party is just like a sieve. Grinderswarehouse - NOT just another BLOG

Limit or PLO8? Limits?
For PL, honestly I think Party has become tighter, but still is by far more aggressive than most other sites. So- you either need to be willing to mix it up when you think you have odds, or find a total donk who will pay you after you have the nuts. I'm not sure what Limit is like. These days I only play limit in occaissional tournaments.

The major sites are a lot tougher now because the players have worked on their games at the .net tables. These tables really help sharpen their skills to compete at world class levels, even Raymer and Moneymaker go there to buff up for playing the big boys.
