BTW, what do you think about any skill increases from 1/2 to 5/10?? And what do you think are attainable winrates?? Just asking because your 2.5bb/100 at 5/10 is EXACTLY where I want to be, and I'm just wondering how tough it is to get there. I assume you have quite a bit of SHHE experience???

About some of your stats:
W$SF, I guess bluffing brings this up a bit.
WTSD, that seems pretty high? I'm running pretty well now (in terms of luck) and am still only hitting 40%.

What is your std dev per 100?

J, Greg on his site o8poker.com has a good breakdown of the changes that occur as you move up in limits. Basicly he states vpip goes up slightly, aggression goes up alot, went to showdown stays the same, and won at showdown go up slightly. Check his site out it has some useful info.

I think a 2-3 bb/100 is attainable. I have not been able to get above 3. I always liked shorthanded holdem over the full tables but I was never able to beat the 5/10 short holdem. Up and down like crazy It is what got me to try o8 and I have not looked back since. I play very little to no holdem now. Most of the holdem I play now is in the sng format.

The problem this creates is if you play live most casino's spread little to no o8. Wait lists move at glacial rates so I wind up at holdem tables with a rusty holdem game. Not very good for win rate live.

About the W$SF and WTSD numbers I do very little bluffing. I don't think o8 lends itself to outright bluffing well. However I am willing to showdown and bet weaker hands that in a full game would be unwise. To me this is where the short game becomes more interesting. At a full game it is all about the nuts - at the short tables there is more skill/poker being played.

As far as std dev I don't know how to calculate it.

To me the most interesting thing about the screenshot is the categories section. The hands that make over .5bb are aa, a2 and a3 hands. The rest are only marginally playable. 23 hands are very overrated.

Interesting. I would've thought you could make more bb/100 than in full (and 2-3 would be attainable there). I guess the advantage is just 50% more hands per hour (apart from the benefit of improving your game).

"at the short tables there is more skill/poker being played."

Which you'd think would lead to a higher bb/100 than the full games.

"As far as std dev I don't know how to calculate it."

In pokertracker, when you open up ring stats go to the "session notes" tab, the on the right click "more detail". SD/100 will be shown at the bottom of the page.

Have you tried 10/20 or higher yet for O8?? I'm thinking shorthanded would be a good way for me to develop skills I'll need if I'm going to play 10/20+.

The reason I'm playing 6max is that it's meant to be more profitable than full, and to develop skill. I think I saw ironman post that he's hitting around 4bb/100 at 2/4 and 3/6 (I'm guessing at full). You'd wanna hit at least 3bb/100 at those same 6max tables.

Also, how about rakeback? I'm guessing you'd be getting $5+ per table an hr from that??

Maybe I'll never run out of questions...
