I hated this hand for some reason

...and I can't figure it out. First orbit. Table seemed typical so far. I called preflop (instead of raising) to come alive on the flop and establish an early LAG image. (??)

looks fine to me, CO hit his flush on the river and thinks its good.

you need to raise this PF in my opinion. good flop raise and call on the 3bet. on the turn if a non heart, non T comes i hope you're raising his bet. on the river obviously the cap is required.

I don't think I understand this. Wouldn't raising preflop give you more of a LAG image? Do you really need that image? Does anyone else pay that much attention at .5/1?

As for the hand, it looks fine (post-flop).

Preflop on the button, you must raise: 1) you have a fairly good hand in LP and 2) more importantly, you want to knock off the blinds (or at least make them pay for seeing the flop with a likely inferior hand).

Post flop - NH [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] cap is a must on the river, you're ahead quite often as there is no indication villain has AA or KK (no PFR).

I don't see much wrong with this other than the fact that you should have raised preflop. You didn't know you were going to hit so you could "wake up on the flop" to portray the desired image that no one was looking for anyway.
