Default Did the HIGHVOLUME thread from the gamingclub get deleted?

I can't find it. Also, I thought the thread was appropriate for this forum.

Ditto, I thought it was great. I am getting sick of the:

Online poker is rigged.
Can I go pro?
Are bonuses taxable?

Hope we are not going the route of getting these good posts eliminated.

Bring it back please, shame on the people who bitched about it.

It would be hard to argue that it wasn't spam of a kind, but I turned a blind eye to it because so many people have been showing interest in O Doyle's idea.

I guess Mat felt he had to delete it.

That's too bad. Posts like that will help pave the way for a better future for all internet poker players. Even for those who disagree with the thread, it's atleast a starting point that could lead to similar/better offers down the road.

Also, if that was considered spam, there are several other posts on here that would be considered spam as well that don't get deleted (edited to protect those threads).

The post was in no way spam. Very poor decision to remove a post in which so many readers/ contributors were very interested in. Next time let common sense prevail.

Then what are posts about in the internet bonus forum. Same exact thing, I think it would be hard to argue that.

Are we to the point where we can't talk about what sites are offering their players?

Why is this different from all the "Bonus" posts from various sites?

I see Havanas post as being a site offering a proposal for a nice bonus. They DO tie this bonus to the amount of rake you pay (fair enough?). But all in all its no different from the rest of the bonuses. And bonuses lower the overall rake.

As I understand it, 2+2 banned the rakeback posts, because they were made by 2000 affiliates trying to make a buck or two.

I see a huge difference here.

I have never played on TGC and are not affiliated to them in any way.

I just like to see the sites fight to give the players better conditions and I would very much like the overall rake to be lowered in the future.

We do that by allowing the sites to speak up. And compete.

I hate to see thousands of affiliates fight to get a buck or two, as it will only hurt the players in the long run. Therefore I agree that affiliates should not be allowed to spam here.

But by banning the small sites from proposing new kind of bonuses, 2+2 only help the big sites maintain a ridicoulous high rake. Im sure that is not 2+2's intention.

Please reconsider your policy regarding this.

I would have to agree. I didn't mind it being there even though havanna had direct ties to the site. It fell in line with the high volume players getting something for their play, which has been an ongoing discussion at this site for many months. (going back to Stu Pidasso's original idea)

Also the pros and cons were being publicly debated which is a value to internet players. I say bring it back.
