Default The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time Review

Solid solid book and a quick read. About an autistic teenager detective. Pretty damn good.

I read half of it at a friends house. was really enjoyable. Especially because I worked with some autistic kids who reminded me so much of the main character.

great book. i'm talking about it tomorrow in my first book club meeting - it was hearing that they were gonna read the book that made me join the club.

as the other guy said, the main character seemed very true to the autistic kid i was a camp counselor for.

I'm sure he's a great detective...but only in the driveway.

You're not kidding about the quick read part; I think I ripped through it in something like an hour and a half when I read it. I'll concur with everybody else that it seems like a pretty realistic presentation of an autistic character, but now, a couple of months down the line, I don't have strong impressions remaining from the book. Definitely worth reading, though.
