Default saving my PT database

I put my old hard drive into my new computer to get some files from it to the new computer. I tried copying over the ptrack.mdb file and I keep getting the "file is in use/write protected" error... Poker tracker is not open, nor is any other poker-related programs. I've tried restarting and moving it, no luck. I tried burning the file onto a CD, and the file will write to the CD but the size of the file is 0 bytes...

What do I need to do to move/copy this file?

That's odd. Try rebooting into safe mode, maybe.

If safe mode doesn't work try Knoppix. It's a live-linux OS on a CDROM.

i tried safe mode - no luck

i tried burning to a cd with roxio and it said the file might have been recently deleted and suggests that i run project varification, i did and it said it was ok to burn. so i burned the CD and when i go to copy the file from the CD, there is nothing on the cd.

this is getting very frustrating.

Can you copy it, as opposed to moving it?
