Default $109s - AQ Hand

Villain is typical aggro donk. Raise range is wide pf, obv pretty narrow on that turn bet. Not sure if he's smart enough to underbet AhK no the turn, which makes this hand pretty annoying.

Who do you think has the best hand preflop?

Don't take that crap from him.

What's my commitment here pre? Re-pop and fold to a RR? I don't even RR AK here. Leak? Are you more apt to c-bet the flop if you RR pre?

If he's a typical aggro donk then I'm thinking just call the flop bet. I also like re-raising preflop but calling is OK too.

I've been playing around with a different line here. Instead of c-betting, I've been checking most flops (unless I've hit and the board is draw heavy) then raising the turn if led into. Sort of the opposite of the standard c-bet and seems to get me more respect.

No. He's an aggro-donk making his obligatory raise into your BB. Just say F-you and get it in up to 15BBs or so.

In and of itself such a large over-raise with AQ preflop is not all that great of a play... but there are meta-game considerations here. (That's something I don't think I've ever said before). Blind on blind play against this guy rates to be a factor in this SNG. Go ahead and get it out of his mind that he will be able to outplay you from that spot.

Also, a typical aggro donk will put you on a little pair and may decide to race with an ace as weak as A-9. I see this every single night, I'd say. Stomp on him.
