Yes that may be it all the menus are on the wall but are in Chinese or somthing. I went with a Taiwanese friend who kept me right, she would only goto the decent places that didnt put additives on the food. SHe was living at headington and went there a lot.

Hey, I'm not British but I lived in London for a few months while working on an album. Since this thread seems to have morphed into good places to eat in the UK (I'm supposing you guys are London-area), I have one for you.

New Mayflower Chinese down on Shaftesbury Avenue is absolutely the greatest Chinese I've ever had in my life. Granted, we don't get the same level of Chinese here in the States that you guys get...but I went to many Chinese restaurants there, and this one is far and away the best.

Get the spicy prawn in salt and chili, get the crispy aromatic duck of course, get the chicken in black bean, the fresh scallops with celery and macadamia...actually, one of everything on the menu for me please -- and a stretcher to carry me out -- I'm sure the whole place are distant relatives of Bob.
