These replies are getting interesting. Let me ask everyone a question:

What ranges do you put both MP3 and SB on, given the unusual river action (call, raise, then cap by respective Villains?)

I'll post the results in a little bit.

On the flop, I'd put MP3 on AT, KT, or a big pair. SB could be on a flush draw.

By the turn, I suspect the pair less and think more about AT and KT, and he just picked up a gutshot.

On the river, I think MP3 likes his trips, and SB has a flush.

And the fact that you posted makes me think MP3 has QT and you got beaten. I still think SB has the flush though.

The turn action is what really throws me off. QQ,TT, or QT would almost certainly get some raises in on the turn so they dont seem likely. SB seems like an obvious flush. I dont know about MP

Someone clearly made a flush and I think the other is holding a T.

Good job to all.

MP3 had AdQd and SB had pocket 7s.

I added SB to my buddy list.

Maybe SB thought your 64 was counterfeited on the river?

If I were MP3, I would have repopped you on the turn, with TPTK and the nut flush draw. I'd probably play it like he did on the river--going for overcalls on the river with the nut flush on a paired board, especially all the flop aggression--but I wouldn't have capped the river like he had. I would think any smart player would see you had the boat when you 3-bet the river.

What would your plan have been if the river was a different diamond?

PREFLOP: GooT

FLOP: GooT. Calling 3bet hoping to checkraise turn is risky as a third diamond could kill action. Or MP3 could be looking for a diamond.

TURN: GooT.

RIVER: The top card from the flop pairs and puts a third diamond on the board. SB wakes up and checkraises you. Your 3-Bet looks very bad. I'd just call this praying to win 1 time in 12. MP3's cap convinces me. This is one of the few times I will fold the river in a big pot. I don't think I'm winning this even 1 time in 13.

Edit Note: I missed full house. RIVER PLAY GooT.

Dude... we have a full house. You don't think a full house will win one time in 13? I expect it to win about 95% of the time here. I hope you don't fold all your full houses on the river to aggression.

Duh. Weird. I have some kind of mental problem recognizing full houses. This has happened to me several times reading hand histories and even at a table, which is really screwed up. I thought Hero was still working with a set of fours.

RIVER PLAY gOOt, of course.

If it was a diamond that did not pair the board, and the action was the same, then I was still betting out, and calling the single SB raise, then folding when MP3 3-bet it (even if SB didn't cap it).

But of course, I suck... and that's probably the worst play to make. Once the river puts me way behind, my move costs me 2 bets.
