Default Now THAT\'S respect (NC)

Was this a stupid play? Flop bet was the see how it played out behind me. Table was very passive.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, Button calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

I like the flop bet especially since we can get the button if he folds. I usually prefer to make this turn play heads up, but the turn completed no draws, and is an undercard, so another bet is warranted.

Yeah, that turn 3 was about the best card I could have hoped for, so I felt another bet was in order. I didn't expect them to fold though, and was going to have a tough choice, depending on what river card fell.
