Default Does anyone know a good VB and .net book(s)?

1. I have done a lot of programming in ASP, and have worked on a couple of VB application, so I already know the syntax for VB. I mainly need a book for backup. Any good books?

2. I have never programmed in .net before but want to learn it. Any good starter books? I want to make sure I learn the object oriented stuff correctly too.

Hopefully this is ok for this forum, thanks in advance.

I use this for VB alot at work:
VB

I am not a VB programmer, but need to write some at times. As for the .net I learned most of my OO stuff from Borland, or Schach in the beginning. Those would be nice authors to start with.

Yo Shoe:

If you don't mind the online reading thing, I would check out Safari from O'Reilly. They have lots of good .NET books, and they will give you a free 2 week subscription. That way, even if you don't like online reading, you can check out the ones you want and buy the hard copy.

I have this VB6 book from back when I actually wanted to program. It's a beast, but whenever I needed to know something it was in there. It comes with a CD too, which is pretty helpful sometimes, if that matters.
