I voted yes because there are like 30,000 registered members and a lot of them post about winning at .5/.10 against chasers.

Exactly. Better than average? I'm pretty sure. Better than the average actual poster who has more than 10 posts (ie, not a hit and run poster)? Hmm, much tougher to say.

I voted no for two reasons.

1. I considered the average poster to be someone with 100+ posts making them an active community member not a random.

2. Althought I do think I'm a good player I don't have a sustained winrate at high enought levels to back this up so for now, humility.

I voted yes because I am actually better than the average 2+2'er. I think this means I am in the upper 49 percentile?!

One- this reminds me of the study where they asked people if they thought they were above or below average drivers. Assuming a decent sample size by definition 50% of people polled should be below avg, and 50% above. Of course, the results clearly showed most people thought they were "above average". The human capacity for denial and self-overestimation is astounding.

Two- most 2+2er's aren't nearly as good as they think they are.

I voted no. But all that really matters is that I am better then the people I play against...which is as few 2+2'ers as possible.

This part is questionable.

Extremely questionable.

OOT has lots of good players that have for the most part gotten bored with posting in the strategy forums.

ElD, GoT, Ray Zee, Daryn, etc.
(just the well known ones off the top of my head)

edit - Do I smell a 2+2 forum tourney? Each player gets to choose 2 forums they post in most frequently or have an alligence (?) to and then we add up the points to crown a champion!
