Default All white backgrounds on CRT displays

Does anyone know if using an all-white background will shorten the life of a CRT display?

Producing white requires the use of all the cathod ray guns, and in using all 3 of these, it actually prodcues a great deal of radiation. in short, no, it won't lessen the lifespan of the monitor, but instead lessen the lifespan of you.
