Default UConn vs. NC State

I just scooped up the 1st half line at Uconn -1.5 right before it changed to -2....im still considering whether to bet UConn at -3.5(it just moved) for the game but i think theyll come out strong early. Does this make sense?

makes sense in theory.. yes.

but who thought wake forest would loose yesterday? who thought BC would loose? who thought utah would win?

common sense would tell you this is a good bet.... but in march madness... through everything out the window!

oh, that goes without saying..believe me i know...weird stuff happens....like 2 of my first half bets with small lines(BC and Kentucky both -1.5) both starting with 11-0 and both lose the first half with utter collapses. ANYTHING can happen in the month of march (but i still like my pick)

I almost made a post with the exact same Subject but I forgot to confirm it.

I am taking NC State on the money line (-152), though it's not as close if NC State is -3.5 instead of -3.

I do this even though Calhoun's teams are 10-2 in the 2nd round and 27-0 against teams seeded 6 or lower in the NCAAs. This reminds me of the 2000 Huskies which also ended their title defense with a 2nd round loss - injuries, inexperience, off the court problems, etc.
