Default Is this a clear value bet?

Villain is playing over 55% of his hands, and is unremarkable otherwise.

PokerStars Hold'em (4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (5.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: (3.75 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (5.75 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero ...?

Who definitely bets the river?

I think there's probably a little bit of value there, but it's slim.

I'd value bet that river. Especially in a 4-handed game.

Against this particular villain a bet is certainly for value.

I would think against a tighter and passive player a check/call would be better.

If you think he'll call with a 9, bet. Otherwise check.

If he made it this far he'll call with a 9.

Do it. If he's that loose preflop, he'll probably pay you off on the river too. Better reads are important here.

I'd bet the river, unless he is tight and passive postflop, then I would check/call and not be surprised by an Ax
