Re: Stars 30-60 game
I would raise with the intention of taking a free card on the turn. If he 3-bets, you should fold.

Re: Stars 30-60 game
You would fold a gutshot to the nuts with two overcards getting 13.5:1???

Re: Stars 30-60 game
You think your overcards are good if he 3-bets on this flop?

Re: Stars 30-60 game
There's still a reasonable chance that your overcards are good if they hit, yes. He could have QQ or KK.

and what this little dialogue has taught us is....
...that the correct play is just to call the flop rather than play a guessing game by investing 3 bets on a not so pretty flop w/ no pair.
you call the flop and barring improvement you fold the turn. |

Re: Stars 30-60 game
Who cares if they are or aren't, a queens good and that's enough.
Anyhow, i'd just call on this board since it's most likely to go 3 bets than him just calling. |

Re: Stars 30-60 game
What i ended up doing was calling the bet on the flop, the turn was a 3 and i called his bet, unimproved on the river and realized i only beat AQ and folded to his bet.
