Default Flop Q, TPTK heads up

.25/.50 NL Online

On a safe board like this is betting the pot too much? Or should I want to keep my opponent in the hand with mabye a 1/2 pot sized bet, and then bet big on 4th st. if his card doesn't come? I run into this situation quite often.

I'm going to say yes, simply because someone calling a pot-sized bet here more than likely has TPTK beat, and you start to fall into that playing big pots with TPTK zone which is usually never good(at least for me). I'd bet 1/2 the pot here and take it from there.

I think $4-5 is a good bet for this flop. I wouldn't go for less than that and give a hand like KJ or JT a cheap look at the turn.
