Default Kinda friendly home game?

I have been playing at this "home game" the last couple of weeks. I am a friend of a friend that runs the game, so it's kinda friendly.
Anyhow, I was in a hand where I was trying to make up my mind either to fold or go all in. And a guy who was not in the hand said he would have to call time on me. So I went all in, and got beat. Of couse I think why did I let someone not in the hand influence my decision?

There is a big difference between calling for "time"
in a tourney and calling "times-up". Make sure you
work this out beforehand or you'll rush and lose your
whole...oh, sorry.

Just to clarify, aalling "time" is what a player does when the action is on him and he wants to let the players & dealer know he is thinking and not just zoning out.

Any player at the table may call the clock on another player. If you go by TDA rules, they get 60 seconds, then a 10 second countdown. If there is no decision at the end of the 70 seconds the hand is killed.

Was he serious or joking? Calling a clock on a player happens a lot at our game, but it's not a serious clock request
