Default NBA Play of the Day

Denver-LA Lakers UNDER 205.5

This is simply insane. Denver cannot score in the half-court. And the Lakers aren't exactly brimming with offensive firepower, either. These two teams played a 99-97 game earlier this week that included an OVERTIME period.

I think this line was inflated by the Lakers' 122-112 loss to the Suns the other night, but that is the Suns' tempo for you. Completely different type of game here.

Maybe also influenced by a 107-68 Denver win over Portland where Denver went on a 20-0 run in garbage time.

Huge value here...4 units for me.

Have any ideas on the game? I like the Nuggets in a revenge game myself. I agree about the under.

Like the nuggets also, If George is there for the first game they don't lose.

Coaching is important with the type of personality that team has.

I went with a unit on the Lakers at home...but it could go either way. I don't think people have adjusted to what the loss of Nene does to the Nuggets' depth up front. If (or more likely when) Marcus Camby goes down, they are gonna be in big trouble.

Here's to an 80-76 game!

Both teams just started out red-hot shooting...might be enough to make it close but that wasn't gonna last.

SHOO!

LA Lakers 112, Denver 92 (204)

If anyone was following this game, it was a classic finish for a gambler, was it not?

("Lakers ball! Yes! No shots!! No shots!!! Dribble it out!!")
