Default Bankroll size for $20 single tables

Hello-
I have been beating $10 plus $1 single table tourneys for about 6 months now. Keeping my bankroll around $450. What is a great bankroll for $20 plus $2 player? and is there much difference in the difficulty from 10 to 20? Thanks

Not much skill difference between 22s and 11s. I would say 10000000000 dollars would be a great bankroll, but I guess a good bankroll would be whatever you are comfortable playing with, accepting the risk of ruin of a really bad stretch of cards. I'd say you can move up with 450, but if you start to run bad, say drop 8 buyins, I would move back down to the 11s. I think one of the biggest leaks in a lot of poker players is ego and not recognizing when they have to small of a roll to play a game, even though in the long run they will beat that game. Moving back down after you have been at a higher level for a while is tough to do, but self-discipline is a necessary tool for any poker pro.

I believe 30-50 buy-in's at any level is a good measure. This is of based on individual comfort though. (your crushing the $10's and have a BR of $450? -- hmmmmm, might want to play more $10's). I think the play on 20's is easier, but I am sure I'm in the minority there.

I play the 33s with 100 buyins so that I may enjoy swings such as my -34 buyin swing this past month with carefree abandon, knowing that I don't have to move down because I run not g00t. Yay!

Umm yeah, you don't need $2200 to play the 22s though. Read the FAQ.

I'm going to be the first to say that I find the $22s much harder than the $11s. My sample size in both isn't big enough for you guys to believe me, so I'll stop here.

You could start convincing us first by showing some hand histories that demonstrate there are some good players making good plays (or at least better then 11's) in the 22's.
