Lol wow thats amazing, good thing that spade hit the turn. Reminds me of a hnd last night where 3 players turned a flsuh, but the board ended up double pairing.

not really, I figured I flopped the best hand and wanted to extract the most from a spare spade, and the PFR generally autobets in this game. so then the spade turns and I decided that letting a bluff and a lower spade fire away rather than bet. So once the BB flatcalls the turn, I have him on either a 2 pair or stupidly played set, or a smaller flush. UTG likely has an ace so As is possible. Once the river hits I figure I'm beaten. I happened to be very right.

You were right this time, but I think UTG will hold 8x, Ts-Qs or a random overpair too often to play that weak on the turn. You really underrepresent your hand imo, so the BB´s riverbet means less than it normally would, so it´s kinda hard to fold with confidence I think.

I dont play that high, so maybe I´m wrong..
