Because this is a poker forum, you chose crappy options. People here will on average be able to answer a lot higher than the average internet forum or the average American. The majority of my poker friends carry around >$5k sometimes.

You have got to get some good stories out of the people who walk away from big tourney wins with 100K or whatever.

No, it wasn't mine. But it's the largest amount of cash I've ever had on my person. (Plus the $20 or so I had in my wallet.) EDIT: I suppose I should explain. I worked in a Vegas Sportsbook, and the day after the Superbowl is the day that the most money is paid out. I was carrying the cash from the main cage to the book, in a canvas bag big enough to carry a breadbox, accompanied by an armed guard. Once, my aunt came out to Vegas, and she stopped by to say hello, just as I was verifying a stack of $100's (about $150K). She brought the friend with whom she was travelling. I held out my hand and said to the friend, "Pleased to meet you." She replied, "How much IS that?" Her eyes never left the money, and she didn't notice my hand.

1.2 Million - I knew a drug mule once and he asked me to hold onto a couple of suitcases for him for a night. Easiest 2 grand I ever made. BTW, when you see someone on tv carrying around a briefcase with a million dollars in it, it's bs. 1.2 million in small bills weighs several hundred pounds.
