O Doyle,

It looks like you are leaving out the multipliers for silver and gold status that you accrue on the way to platinum.

My hungover calculations look like this (assuming 8-tabling $3-6 short for 360 FPPs/hour at the normal rate):

4.16 hours to hit Silver Status
11 hours to hit Gold Status
28 hours to hit Platinum (agreed)
280 hours to hit Supernova (agreed)

Accrual:

For the first 4 hours of play, 1500 FPPS.
For the next 7 hours, = 2500x1.5 = 3,750 FPPs.
For the next 17 hours = 6000x2 = 12,000 FPPs. (we are now platinum).

For the time we are platinum until we hit supernova (assuming we remain platinum), we get 90,000x2.5 =225,000 FPPs.

We have 242,250 when we hit Supernova.

So yes, your calculations look good. Thanks.

I thought the max number of tables at Stars was 5.

has this changed?

Also - if your calcs are correct then it looks like $480/wk you are earning (125 wks) or $24 an hour.

So it's only $3/hr (or 0.5BB/hr) per table.

Long road to make it to $60k.

Bob,

It's either 8 or 10 tables now (since Party upped their limit).

Yea, Bob.

Isn't the state of poker bonuses and incentives fantastic?

To think we are talking about earning 25K a year basically on a part-time basis, and 60K a year full time like its no big deal.

(I'm not saying it is easy to do, in fact someone playing that much full time would deserve every inch of that Porsche, but it is just really unbelievable if you think about it. Playing poker online for an incentive that many people would wish they could earn in one year on their full time job)

130 weeks X 20 hours X 8 tabling X 60 hands/hour X 0,25$ rake = 312 000 paid in rake so the Porsche is around 20% rakeback not that bad but i prefer cash buy a nissan 350Z Roadster and play the WSOP for free hehe......

You should be able to do that with the concierge service option. That way you would be able to get a differnt car, like a 911 or Corvette instead of the crappy Cayman S.

Oh and I think I'm going to make a actual thread about this but I made a calculator for the Stars VIP program that will calculate various thing. You can download it here
