Default Wait till a safe flop here?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises</font>, UTG+2 calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls, Hero....

Pros and Cons: I'm pretty sure I have the best hand. However, i Cannot isolate the raiser, and raising here jams the pot and makes it impossible to protect my hand, even on a rag flop and alot of flops ruin my hand to this many cold callers.

You're not ever going to be able to protect here. Raise for value.

Edit: Are you on a downswing? I wouldn't expect this line of thinking from you.

30% of the time you get undercards, 12.5% of the time you get trips and have a huge edge. The pot is already going to be so big on the flop there's no way you can protect so just 3 bet for value since you'll win far more than your share of the time against so many callers.

Well, the past 2 weeks have been frustrating break even streches. However, I've had a very nice day today. For some reason I thought it would be easier to drive out overcards if the pot wasn't ginormous. After thinking it over....well, it shoulda been a 3 bet.

What's wrong with a fold here? You'll see an overcard 46% of the time, plus there's a very good chance you're drawing to 2 outs. If you don't flop a set, what flop do you like? Any undercard could be a set, any overcard beats you. Plus you should be up against at least one overpair.

bigalbr does... I played 129 hands against him today, and based upon his stats (small sample I know), he is jopking.
