Bankroll question

I have a 6.5 K bankroll that I built from .5/1 online to 3/6 and 4/8 live. Lately, I have been playing 3/6 due to the easy competition, but a friend told me that I was wasting my time due to the size of my bankroll. Should I be playing 6/12 and 8/16 live? I also wanted to play 5/10 SH at the end of the month? Do you need a larger bankroll to sustain the swings of SH?

6.5K as in 6,500? I'd think you'd be ok...

you should play whatever game your comfortable with My bankroll is the same size as you, and I only play 2/4 online (but I do play 6/12 live). You should consider moving up when you are consistently beating the game you are at, or want to expand your income more.

5 grand is sufficient for 5/10 SH, if you're a winning player that is.

That's a real nice bankroll for 6-12, and everywhere I have played (live) I haven't really seen a tough game at that level. Your friend is right.
