Bride of Frankenstein is an excellent one. Road Warrior too.
Evil Dead I'll give a pass on. Even more so because it bizarrely chose to be a "do-over" rather than a real sequel. It was funny as hell, but nowhere near as special as the first one, which was a pretty amazing use of no budget at all and one set. Not quite like Lifeboat, but damn, that guy's good.

Too many times movie producers simply spit out crap to ride the wave of the first movie, rarely do we find gems.

While I personally think the first Terminator is the superior movie, I'm going to include Terminator 2 in the poll because so many people believe T2 to be better then the original. I didn't like Temple of Doom but did enjoy Last Crusade. Technically Red Dragon is a prequel and I didn't like American Pie 2, but I'll give thought to any of those movies if others agree they should be included. I certainly don't want to be nominations nazi.
