If your only read is the stats, then I don't think it makes sense that calling the turn is going to make a river bet mean you've lost. Just because he's more or less tight-aggressive doesn't mean he's thinking very carefully in general.

His river AF is 5. You've shown no strength. I think he's betting the river with any pair. Maybe less (KJ?) if he's seen you call to the river and fold like this alot.

That said, folding the turn seems better.

Anyone else lead or c/r the flop to find out where you are?

check-raising the flop and "finding out where you're at" will let worse hands fold and better hands get more money in.
