i like it fine... even though the button is fairly tight.
i generally suspect anyone who let their chipstack dwindle to less than 5-6 BB is getting desperate. most disciplined players would reload before it gets that low. so, often the opponent is on his last legs and frustrated. i think he could be making a desperation play far to often with a hand like A5s+ or A8o+. Any of those hands would play the same way post flop (waiting for the turn to protect his hand). you have most of them beat. Against most other reasonable players who aren't all-in, i just call the river raise instead of 3 betting. |
