Did I play this hand right on any street?
Live 100 person, $100 buy-in tournament. Start with T2500, I doubled up on 3rd hand with nut-flush vs. second nut flush.
Blinds move RAPIDLY in these live casino tournaments, so I'm trying to use my stack to pick up some extra blinds. 50-100 blinds, I pick up K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in MP and I open raise to 300. Small blind (right around original stack of 2.5k) minraises to 500. BB folds, I call. 1100 in the pot. Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villian leads for 200. I call. Turn Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check. Check. River 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] He bets 1k. I call. Looking back, his hand screams mid-PP to me. He min-raised pre-flop, then threw out a tiny probe bet on the flop. He checked the turn, scared of overs if he has a PP. I should have been all-in on the turn with my pair + flush draw. I don't like my play on ANY street except MAYBE the flop, flame away. Results in white below Villian flips 77 for rivered boat |
