Default Pokertracker and Pokerroom slows my computer down

Has anyone ever gotten PT to work well with Pokerroom ? I have 13K hands in my pokerroom database but why does that need to slow it down so much when I'm trying to use gametime+ ? Can you delete the pokerroom database and start a new one on your harddrive and in PT so it goes quicker ? If so, I would like to . I assume that would speed it up ? I just need to know people's VPIP for their last 30 hands and that is all that really matters to me. Thanks.

You just need to reset the stats in the pokerroom database. From the poker tracker help file..

"If you want to clear out the database file (it is recommended that you do this every so often) you can click the Show Texas Hold'em Stats option under the Statistics menu. The following window will open...click the Reset button to empty out the database. "

Ok, now the display problem. How do you get the stats to be readable on the screen ? The stats don't have to be exactly under the name but at least legible somewhere.

my pokerroom database file is 89 MB , I'm pretty sure that is what is slowing down PT when I attempt to use GT with it. If I delete this, will Pokerroom just create another database file ? I would assume so. Any help ?

you have to delete the database if your database is about 80 MB for PT and gametime to work with Pokerroom. What I did was just saved a copy of the database in another folder then closed pokerroom and deleted the 80 MB database (both of them) and now it works really fast with no slow down.
