Button - no reads, but wouldn't be surprised if this shortstack stack is a complete bluff.

I call here because I want MP3 to come along as an insurance policy in case I lose the main pot to the Button. MP3's flop call tells me that I probably have him beat. If Hero pushes, it's more likely MP3 folds. I call, hope for MP3 to call, and then value bet his stack into the middle on the installment plan.

Button could have 45 or a set and we are crushed. He could have Adxd and we are slightly ahead. A3, A2 where we are behind. And he could have a multitude of other hands where we are WA. We can't fold, so I think we call and hope to get some more from MP3 on later streets.

TPTK and a back doorflush draw, I think AJ said it best with just cold calling to hide your hand an taking MP3 for hte ride. If MP3 raises here too, it lets you off the hook cheaply, as if its anything less than a set, he obviously is an ATM and just stay and take his whole stack.

I call for all the reasons aj stated. Even if you lose to the button, you can still win some money from MP3 on the turn and river by just calling here. He may fold to a raise, with would show great strength from you.
