most of the glitzy spots on the strip will take $10,000 per hand. higher limits presumably available upon request.

I don't know if it's still true, but at Binions it was always well known that your first wager was your limit (assuming it was above posted limits). This prevented a player losing their first wager from "doubling up". I don't recall ever hearing of a first bet they didn't book.

I think after Benny died, all the legends died with him. that casino is now owned by a racetrack corporation in west virginia. Harrah's bought the Horseshoe copyright and the WSOP, but they didn't bother with the actual property.
I don't think they're going to do the World Series final table there anymore either. |
