Default AK. A on flop. Could I have gotten rid of this guy... somehow???

Should I have 3bet on the turn? Would it have helped or was this guy determined to stay in till the end no matter what I did?

First hand posted here so be gentle...lol.

After he caps the flop and raises you on the turn, I check/call the river, he clearly has something he likes and has TPTK beaten. And it's best not to include the results of the hand, to avoid biased advice

i think a better question is why would you want to get rid of him? he is paying you off more often than not. put him on your buddy list and seek him out every time you sign on.

Sorry about the results thought I had left them out all together. Like I said relative newbie; to posting that is...

I know what you are saying about wanting him to stay in most of the time but it seems like the fish just keep taking huge chunks of me right now since I've been grinding out this Empire bonus. No matter what I do or how I bet it... they stay in and I lose big time. I've kept my game tight agressive ... no big tilts or "I can play those crappy hands too" moments but it just gets frustrating when the cards and the fish seem out to get you.

welcome to poker. seriously though, its a gambling game. casino owners dont get upset when someone wins a jackpot slot do they? of course not. they dont get upset because they know that the odds are in there favor, and that in the long run they will make money. lots of money. keep the odds in your favor and you'll do fine. just remember that its a long term game. sometimes very loooonggg. good luck
