JJ ugh turn minraise
Reads: Villain is 56/6 1.93 agro after 50 hands.
Two hands before this hand following hand occured. I raise UTG with AsAd. CO calls, Villain calls in BB Flop is 4c5hKc. Villain leads for 5, I make it 15, CO folds, Villain makes it 25, I call. Turn is 9h, villain checks, I bet 3/4 pot, villain c/r all in (im way commited), I say NH, call, and win (he had KQ) So we know villain is a donkey who overvalues Top Pair type hands. We also know he has no idea how to plan out lines. When villain Minraised me I thought his range was , A2 (suited or no), 9Ks, 9A (s or no), and 1010+ (though I feel like he would 3bet me with KK or AA on the flop) |

Re: JJ ugh turn minraise
if you are not comfortable calling and check/calling the river here then i would check/call this turn.

Re: JJ ugh turn minraise
99 is possible and he flopped a set. A9 is possible. Would he really call a check-raise with A2? Would he have just called with a set rather than pushing with his set? If he over values top pair it's hard to say where he's at, but we can probably take him off a set and A2.
A9 seems the most likely holding, given his history. If you're uneasy about the hand, calling and check/calling the river is always an option. |
